Heads the Department of General Medical Practice since 2008, since 2020 it has been renamed to the Department of Family Medicine No. 3. After completing her clinical residency and postgraduate studies at the Kharkiv Medical Institute, she defended her doctoral dissertation on pediatric pulmonology. Member of the "Association of Allergists and Clinical Immunologists", "Association of Pediatricians", "Association of Family Physicians" of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For a long time, she worked at the Department of Children's Diseases No. 1 of JSC "AMU".
In 2000-2003, she studied in the priority areas of training PHC specialists, organized by the British Council for tutors of the departments of family medicine (London, Bristol, Almaty). She took an active part in conducting masterclasses for university tutors on interactive teaching methods. In 2010 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the characteristics of the clinical course, diagnosis, and treatment of bronchial asthma in children with concomitant endocrine diseases.
Saltanat Urazova has a rich clinical and pedagogical experience. Currently, her scientific and clinical priorities are allergology, pulmonology. She is actively involved in clinical consulting work based on polyclinics №4, 10, allergy center "Umit". She has the highest qualification category in the specialty "Pediatrics", "Allergology". She is successfully engaged in research work. In particular, she studied the effectiveness of the treatment of bronchial asthma in children. Author of more than 200 scientific publications, guidelines, 10 patents, 7 copyright certificates. Two masters of medicine, one candidate of medical sciences defended their works under S. Urazova. Currently, two master's students from the department are preparing for the defense. She introduced new teaching technologies into the educational process. S.Urazova is a participant in many scientific and practical conferences, master classes of international and republican levels. She passed numerous refresher courses in all areas of activity - clinical, pedagogical, and scientific.
For intensive and conscientious work, she has gratitude and certificates of honor from the administration of the University and the clinical base.
