1980-1982 Clinical residency with a degree in "Urology" at the urology department of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University;

1987-1990 Full-time postgraduate study in urology clinic of the I.M. Sechenov first Moscow State Medical University;

1990 - Ph.D. defense on the topic of: "The neurophysiological changes in bladder dysuria in women";

1999- PhD thesis defense on the topic of: "Nephrolithiasis in the arid zone of Kazakhstan".

1996-2001 Assistant professor of urology course Akmola State Medical Academy;

2001-2006 Head of the urology department of the National Scientific Medical Center, professor of urology course in the Kazakh State Medical Academy;

2006-2010 Head of urology course in the KSMA;

Since 2011 Head of the urology department and Andrology of JSC "AMU";

Now – Vice-rector of JSC "AMU". Work experience by profession is 39 years. During the work, he has several specializations and enhancements to improve medical training in Russia, the United States and other international centers of Europe and Asia.

Professor Khairli G.Z. is an author of over 160 scientific publications on various topics of urology and andrology, 3 monographs, 7 teaching aids, 5 patents for inventions and 17 innovations. He implanted a number of new methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with urinary stone disease, neurogenic bladder dysfunction and male infertility, which are using successfully in modern practice urologist and andrologist. He has the highest qualification category, transmits his knowledge and experience to young specialists.

Professor Khairli G. Z. renders big practical and advisory help to medical institutions of the capital, being the chairman of the urologists and andrologists association RK, Astana. He is corresponding member Academy of science of clinical and fundamental medicine RK.

He is a full-fledged member of European Urology Association.
